Privacy Policy

Effective: May 11, 2026

This policy describes how Accomply (the “App”) handles your information. Accomply is operated by Tin Liu (“we” / “us”). You can reach us at tliu2930@gmail.com.

The short version: we collect the minimum we need to make the App work, we never sell your data, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from inside the App at any time.

1. What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Apple shares your name and email address with us. You may hide your email through Apple’s private relay; in that case we only receive the relay address. We store:

Routine and group data you create. Routine titles, notes, recurrence (daily / weekly / monthly), completion status, completion timestamps, and group names and colors.

Notification preferences. Whether you’ve enabled shared-group notifications. Stored against your account so the same preference applies on every device you sign in on.

Push notification tokens. If you opt in to notifications, we store the token Apple gives us so we can deliver push notifications to your devices.

Subscription metadata. If you subscribe to Accomply Pro, we receive from Apple the original transaction identifier, product identifier, and expiration date so we can recognize you as a Pro subscriber. We do not receive your payment method, billing address, or any financial information — Apple handles all payments.

Calendar events (optional). If you grant calendar access, the App reads your event titles and times on your device to display them alongside your routines. Calendar data is never transmitted to our servers.

2. What we don’t collect

3. Why we collect it

We use the data above only to operate the App: keep you signed in, sync your shared routines between devices, send notifications you’ve asked for, and recognize whether you’ve subscribed.

We don’t profile you, don’t build advertising audiences, and don’t share data with marketers.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers (“sub-processors”) to run the App:

We do not share your data with anyone else except as required by law (e.g., a valid court order).

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will automatically delete accounts that go unused for a long period.

Deleting your account yourself

Open the App, tap the person icon in the top toolbar, then Delete Account → Delete. We permanently delete:

This deletion happens within minutes. Records that Apple keeps for its own tax and billing purposes are outside our control.

If you’d prefer to delete your data without using the in-app button, email us at tliu2930@gmail.com and we’ll do it manually.

Inactive accounts

If you don’t sign in to Accomply for 11 months, we send a push notification to your registered devices warning that your account will be deleted. You then have 30 days — for a total of 12 months of inactivity — to open the App and keep your account active. Simply signing in resets the clock; we never delete your account in the middle of you actively using it.

After 12 months of continuous inactivity, your account and all of the data listed above are permanently deleted. This runs once a day.

Active Pro subscribers are exempt from inactivity deletion. As long as your subscription is active and unexpired, we will not delete your account, regardless of how recently you opened the App.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or California CCPA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. You can:

EU users have the right to lodge a complaint with their national data protection authority.

7. Children

Accomply is rated 4+ on the App Store but is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International users

We are based in the United States. If you use the App from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. Our sub-processors (Apple and Supabase) operate globally and may process data in regions including the US and the EU.

9. Security

We use HTTPS for all server communication, store data on encrypted-at-rest cloud infrastructure, and limit access to our backend to the App’s operator. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we’d want our own treated.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App changes. The “Effective” date at the top tracks the latest revision. If we make a material change, we’ll surface it inside the App or notify you in another reasonable way before the change takes effect.
